GIVING

Giving and Giving back to Christ Church

"Each of you must give as you have made up your mind, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver." 2 Corintians 9:7. Please give generously!

There are several ways to give:

All donations are tax deductible. Details below.

Canada Helps

The Canada Helps organization facilitates on-line fund raising for all kinds of charities in Canada.  Click the button below go donate. However, since Canada Helps retains 4% of each donation, we strongly encourage other methods of giving.

Pre-Authorized Remittance (PAR)

Many of our parishioners are already taking advantage of the PAR system to donate to Christ Church. Once the PAR authorization is completed and set up, the amount that you wish to give is automatically withdrawn from your bank account – on the 18 th of the month. This makes it very simple to give what you plan to give. You can, of course, stop the PAR donations or alter the amounts given at any time, by updating the form. You can also designate funds as you so wish. For those wishing to donate monthly PAR is a very easy to use and the costs to the church associated with it are minimal.

Should you choose to use the PAR Program a completed application has to be given or mailed to the Christ Church Parish Office along with a VOID cheque. Another option is to scan the completed application form and a VOID cheque and email the scanned document to Christ Church. Your completed application form must be received by the first week of the month in which you would like to have your PAR donations begin. Annual tax receipts will be sent to you by the Parish Envelope Secretary as usual.
